In Lionel's expression, it could be seen how the call he received couldn’t mean anything good to him, or at least not at the moment. He decided to Hang Up and put the cell phone back on the table.

“He isn’t someone worth attending to now.” Lionel said contemptuously.

Corrine wondered who was the person that so insistently called Lionel, she immediately suspected that they were members of Blackwing, for a moment she thought that he didn’t want to answer in front of her because at first, Lionel suspected that she was an agent in covered and he just wasn't answering the call at the time so she wouldn't notice his plans, what he was hiding, maybe he was going to plan some kind of new criminal activity, or maybe, Lionel already knew who she was and he was just kind because he intended to get rid of her as soon as possible and that was why he didn’t answer the phone because he was going to coordinate the operation of her death. After some thought, Corrine reflected and concluded that she was being a bit paranoid, so she decided to keep quiet and keep an eye on Lionel.

The unknown guy kept calling insistently, he was determined to speak to Lionel under any circumstances, so Lionel relented and prepared to answer. To answer his call, Lionel stood up suddenly, with a certain abruptness that alarmed Corrine, that this reaction wasn’t expected and that she had been thinking about imaginary scenarios. On the spot, he walked a few meters away and answered.
