6 Lionel’s Beautiful Roommate

1252 Words
After ceasing to worry about the appearance of the Blackwing’s man Corrine set out to explore that house, she found the place was quite spacious: on the first level was the kitchen, two big rooms, and a small patio; on the second level there were four rooms, the largest of all had a library inside and a large closet, the others only had a single closet and there was also a balcony through which could see the great mountains of Tonversil.  However, she didn’t stop long as she had to get ready to tidy up that house and think about how to convince the tenant that he would arrive soon to let her be in that house with him. To tell the truth, she had a lot of work to do in that place because it was in a state of obvious abandonment, the wooden floors were full of dust and needless to say, the windows through which the exterior couldn’t be seen either. The outer part of the Villa was full of tall thickets that showed that it hadn’t been pruned for many months, Corrine had enough work to do in one day, for the man she was chasing would soon arrive. “Let's get to work.” Corrine said cheerfully, as it didn't bother her to spend time cleaning that place if she would manage to catch the members of Blackwing. While she was cleaning some gray walls from the dirt, her phone rang “Athena, how are you?” asked the voice on the other end of the phone. “In position, agent, I’m already in the place where that criminal will stay, it really is a very discreet place.” Corrine replied. “Agent, I was analyzing the site a little and I think that here we can install some spy equipment to keep an eye on that man all the time, I need a couple of reinforcements to come here in the morning so as not to alert the locals.” “Of course, director, I’ll immediately order the men to prepare the equipment and leave in a few hours.” answered the agent “Okay.” Corrine replied. “we talk later.” After requesting the pertinent help, Corrine ordered the place a little and when it was time to rest, she took the opportunity to go out into town since she had to buy some clothes to look like a real local. While finding a store that would serve her, she took the opportunity to analyze the people of that town in order to know the type of clothing that they were worn there, she easily realized that the general of the locals wears high boots, plaid shirts, and jeans; so she chose to buy several garments of that style to go unnoticed. In the same way, she was thinking about the alibi that she would use so that the Blackwing member would let her stay so close to him despite being a perfect stranger. Soon, she found herself again in the Villa and she only had to wait for the arrival of her men to install all the equipment on the site.   As requested, her men appeared at 2:00 a.m. with large black briefcases full of devices that would serve Corrine to install on-site. With the help of her agents, Corrine was able to complete the cleaning and they proceeded with the installation of surveillance by the windows, microphones under the tables and from some parts of the floor and in the study that was in one of the rooms they camouflaged a small operations center so that Corrine was in contact with LICB, before 5:00 a.m. everything was set up. “Time to go!” Corrine shouted because she couldn’t allow raising many suspicions. Her men soon left and she was alone in the Villa again, so she tried to get some sleep as she really felt exhausted. After a few hours of sleep, Corrine woke up to the sound of her phone. “I see a green truck coming.” Said her partner on the other end of the phone. “Is the man coming on the road?” Asked Corrine exalted. “Yes, confirmed, it's him.” said her collaborator “Then we'll talk later, stay alert.” Corrine said before hanging up. Indeed, Lionel was arriving at the Villa and was surprised to see that this place was already inhabited by someone else and no one had warned him, in any case, he decided to go through the gate of the site and find out who the intruder was since he had already rented the site before. To his total surprise upon entering he ran into the beauty of Corrine Lewis, which immediately captivated him and prevented him from uttering a word for a few minutes because Corrine was really stunning, however, he decided to break the ice. “Who are you?” Lionel asked him shortly and rudely. “I’m Mary.” Corrine lied using her new identity. “What are you doing here? I'm supposed to rent this space two weeks ago.” “Forgive me, I haven’t presented myself properly, I’m the owner of this villa.” It was the only thing that Corrine came up with, she was sure that a criminal wouldn’t go through town looking for the true owner of the villa. “I thought I had rented this place for myself, for Larson.” “I know, but for your arrival, I was going to move to a new house, but it’s not finished yet. Does it bother you; can I stay a few days? While they finish my house.” Corrine asked Lionel hoping that her trick would bear fruit. “Why should I accept your deal if I already paid for this place?” Lionel said openly obfuscated “I'll give you a discount and I'll cook.” Corrine insisted, smiling. Lionel let his guard down when he saw Corrine's beautiful smile, the girl was very active and thought that she could be a good company since he was alone in a country totally unknown to him. “I don’t know Mary, I just came to this place to get away from everything and give me a gap year.” Lionel lied. “I promise you won’t regret it; I can also do you sightseeing around town.” Corrine kept insisting even though she didn’t know the town either because she had only been there for a few hours “Let me think about it a bit, I’ll go to one of the rooms to take my luggage and decide if you can come with me.” Lionel finished the conversation Once in one of the rooms, Lionel called Beau to tell him about the girl who was with him “It doesn’t seem to be a threat Cheetah; with her, you can easily forget Amber.” Beau said maliciously “Don't be silly, you know what I came to this place.” Lionel replied, “Then I'll call you, I have that girl waiting for an answer.” said Lionel Having made up his mind, Lionel came down and told Corrine. “Mary, you can stay.” Lionel said dryly before returning to his room again.
