Although they had already walked past dozens of girly bars, they were not prepared for Soi Diana. Lek tried to herd them along, but the three friends were awestruck by the lights, the bars, the restaurants and the sheer volume of people, most of whom were young women or older, foreign men. The three newcomers could almost taste the wealth in the air.
Once at the bottom end of Soi Diana, by Second Road, they came to a dead stop again. They were mesmerised by the lights, the hotels on the other side of the road, the bustle, the traffic... everything.
Second Road is easily one of the busiest roads in Pattaya.
Lek flagged down a taxi and off they went again for the short ride to Daddy's Hobby by Soi 7.
