“I hate to admit it, but Johnny’s right. This time it’s too big to ignore their wishes.” Brian c****d his head.
“We’ll do what we can but we can’t really accomplish anything until Friday when we get them in the same room.” Jim said.
“You’re sure he’ll be there on Friday?” Robbie asked.
“I’m pretty sure. I don’t know if he’ll talk to you, but he’ll be there,” Jamie said.
“I thought you guys were on my side.” Robbie looked around the table.
“We are, but we didn’t know what you did. This is serious. I hope he doesn’t tear up your contract. It’s signed, isn’t it?” Greg asked.
“Yes we signed it for six months.” Robbie still had tears coursing down his cheeks.
“Well, he’s stuck with you for six months anyway. He has to get over his mad by the time the contract is up for renewal.”
