I stood outside Derek's bedroom, trying to gather my courage before I knocked. I still had no idea what had upset him to the point of leaving the hospital without saying anything to me, but with how things have been with Derek lately, I didn't know what to say to him or how to react to him.
It was almost starting to feel like he was getting tired of me in a way, and I also had a feeling that he had something to say but wasn't saying it for whatever reason.
