“What's your name, Madam?” the nurse at the hospital reception asked.
“Lycia Thorne,” I responded, tapping my forefinger impatiently on the counter.
After spending the whole day contemplating, I finally decided to show up at the hospital Rylan was at to pay him a visit. Even though the last thing I wanted was to be here, I had to remember that I was still his Luna, which meant that I couldn't afford to look like a wife who doesn't care for her husband.
“May I ask what your relationship is with the patient?” she questioned, and I couldn't help but look at her, wondering if she was just stupid.
“Are you slow? I just said my name is Lycia Thorne, which is obviously the same last name as the patient. Do I need to spell out that I’m his wife?” I hissed in response.
