“Let's call off the wedding, Natalia,” Derek declared all of a sudden, and saying I was shocked would be an understatement.
“What's that supposed to mean, Derek? Why would you suddenly want to call off the wedding?” I questioned him, trying to understand where he was getting at.
“Suddenly? Are you really surprised that I'm suggesting we call off the wedding, or are you trying to pretend like you are?” he responded, and I let out a frustrated sigh.
I wasn't in the best mood today, especially since I could barely get any sleep throughout the night while thinking about my supposed resemblance to the late Luna Queen. The fact that Derek was bringing up such a subject while I was in this mood made me feel like my head was about to explode any second from now.
