LYCIA ~~ I shifted uncomfortably in the chair, the weight of Caleb's presence heavy in the room. For over ten minutes now, he had been pacing back and forth in the room like some bodyguard, refusing to budge an inch from Rylan's room. I could practically sense the suspicion that lingered in his gaze, almost like he was thinking that I might attempt to harm Rylan in his weakened state.
