The walls pulsed faintly with silver light, etched with lunar sigils so old that no living Luna could have carved them. When her fingers brushed the stone, the runes shivered as though acknowledging her presence, and she shivered back. “Careful,” Tristan murmured behind her, his hand hovering near her shoulder, not touching.
