Just as Dominic and Alessia were about to order their drinks, a tall, imposing figure emerged from the crowd. His eyes were fixed intently on Dominic, a scowl etched on his face.
"Morano," the man growled, his voice low and menacing. "I see you're still slumming it with the locals."
Dominic's expression turned icy, his eyes narrowing as he turned to face the newcomer. "Vinnie," he replied, his voice dripping with disdain. "I wasn't aware you were allowed out of your cage."
Alessia's eyes widened as she watched the exchange, her senses on high alert. Who was this Vinnie, and what was his beef with Dominic?
Vinnie sneered, his eyes flicking to Alessia before returning to Dominic. "You're making a big mistake, Morano," he snarled. "This one's trouble."
Dominic's smile was cold, calculated. "I can handle myself, Vinnie," he replied. "And I don't need your advice."
The air was thick with tension as the two men faced off, their animosity palpable. Alessia felt like she was caught in the middle of a war zone.
Alessia's eyes darted back and forth between Dominic and Vinnie, her mind racing with questions. Who was this Vinnie, and what was his problem with Dominic?
As the tension between the two men escalated, Alessia felt a shiver run down her spine. She had never seen anything like this before. The air was electric with hostility, and she could sense the violence simmering just below the surface.
Dominic's eyes never left Vinnie's face, his expression cold and calculating. Vinnie, on the other hand, seemed to be spoiling for a fight, his fists clenched at his sides.
Alessia took a step back, her heart racing with anticipation. She didn't know what was going to happen next, but she knew she didn't want to be in the middle of it.
Just as it seemed like things were about to get out of hand, Dominic spoke up, his voice low and even. "Vinnie, I think it's time for you to leave."
Vinnie's face twisted in a snarl, but…….
Vinnie's face twisted in a snarl, but he seemed to hesitate for a moment before turning and stalking off into the crowd.
The tension in the air dissipated slowly, leaving Alessia feeling shaken and confused. What had just happened?
Dominic turned to her, his expression softening slightly. "I'm sorry about that," he said, his voice low. "That was unpleasant."
Alessia nodded, still trying to process what she had just witnessed. "Who is Vinnie?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dominic's eyes narrowed slightly, his expression guarded. "Just someone from my past," he replied, his voice neutral.
Alessia sensed that there was more to the story, but she didn't push the issue. Instead, she changed the subject. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" she asked, her voice curious.
Dominic's expression changed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, yes," he said, his voice low. "I have a proposal for you, Alessia. One that could change your life forever
