“You’re not cops,” Derek said half an hour later. They were in an office in a building several miles from where Derek had first met Larson and Park. The two prisoners had been handed over to another pair of men. Derek had no clue where they were now, but as long as it wasn’t anywhere close to him, he didn’t care. “How do I know you’re the good guys?” “We saved your ass,” Park replied. “Doesn’t mean you’re not just as bad as them but working against them.” “The kid’s got a point,” Park said.
