Chapter 7 That night, Dustin strolled up to Claire’s apartment with a handful of flowers. He’d remembered to stop at the last minute to get them. They were just cheap gas station flowers, but she would probably think it was the sweetest thing ever. When she opened the door, Dustin grinned and held out the flowers. “Hello beautiful.” She blushed. “These are for me?” “Of course. I mean, they don’t compare to your beauty, but they’re okay.” She took the flowers from him and sniffed them. “I’ll go put these in water.” He stood there in her entryway, looking around. Her place was perfectly clean. A few paintings on the walls, one or two decorations. No clutter. No dirt. She had either cleaned obsessively before he came or was a total neat freak. Hopefully, she wouldn’t be too grossed out
