Daisy’s POV I was already deep in my sleep when a knock jolted me awake. I was already sitting upright with my heart beating erratically in my chest before I even opened my eyes. Blinking my eyes rapidly to clear out the sleepiness, I pushed the canopy of the bed aside and turned to my bedside to peer at my digital clock. The glaring red LED lights bore 2:30 am into my eyeballs. “What the f**k?” I muttered under my breath. Who in their right mind thinks it’s normal to visit someone by this time of the night? Still rubbing my eyes, I untangled my legs from my blanket and climbed out of my bed, stumbling toward the door feeling both tired and irritated at whoever was on the other side of the door.
