Splitting up with what seemed like an ally wasn't exactly how this was supposed to go. That detour could have got me caught- or worse, expelled.
But really- maybe I should have ignored the screams of agony. But then, I wouldn't have anyone to help Adelle get out. Then what would happen? A chance I could die at celmira's hands, or even get caught running around this dusty facility- then she would have never had any help getting out. She would never see her maman. And I would be at fault.
