While some basked in their new found hope (Gonçalo, Diogo), some wallowed in the pain of rejection (Addison’s Mom, Pancho, Miss Tania). There were others torn by the pressures of life (Addison, Keren’s parents) however, for some, Saturdays were as refreshing as a fresh cup of coffee. She danced round and round her new bike, hugging ma’am Eunice for the third time. Not only was she grateful, she was bustling with excitement over Eunice’s gift. To many, a bicycle was only a bicycle but to Keren, a red bicycle was worth more than a private jet. Little wonder, her most treasured properties were red, including her diary. “Thank you so much ma’am. Thank you sir Edmundo. Thank you Mark.” She hurries to the bike again hugged and kissed it. “Thank you mother nature.” She had screamed this louder
