CHAPTER 4:FINALLY CAMPUS

Monday morning and it was kind of chilly with light showers,it was now late early December and the mood was all festy festy.I planned on staying indoors and it turned out that the examination results were be realized later that afternoon which gave me chills and butterflies, I wasn't sure how i would do but i hoped for the best. You called me that morning and comforted me assured me all would be well that i had to pray and trust in God,i loved you for that how caring you were towards me.My family started looking worried on how i had performed and finally the results were out and i can't say it was a good call nor was it bad just that i expected higher grades, at least i managed to get a place in college which comforted me at least.

" Hi babe,how was it?", I could hear your voice with so much anxiety

"It was fairly good i have managed to get a place at the college", i answered with a calm voice

"it's okay babe we have to celebrate",

That at least put a smile on my face.

How you made me happy,made me smile every day,things we always did together was just something i was proud of and everyday calling you mine was a whole kind of vibe.Peter called me and he asked if we could meet up and i said yes,by now we were good friends knowing we had a lot of things in common,we were really good friends who helped each other when in need.We could talk and share our experiences and breakpoint,We met up and i shared the good news with him of me joining campus soon.

December really flew and January was here i had to prepare for campus the time was already here with all the excitements of this world.The stories i had heard about campus how people had freedom and could do whatever they wanted,that made me feel much excited . Walking through the campus gate felt like joining a whole new environment where i knew no one and no one knew me,i could see people walking around some dressed lavish,others fairly abd i could see it was a diverse community.I got signed in to a hostel since all the first years were not allowed to commute,I stayed in the hostel for a while trying to settle in then you called abd asked if we could go have dinner together,i missed you and i said yes we could.You took me a hotel where we ate a drunk a little i wouldn't want to mess up on the first day,you dropped me at the campus gate and i just went to bed on the go

The next morning i had get up early since my classes were to start immediately,My room mate was much of a talker and it turned out we were scheduled fir the same classes since we were both into mass media.The lecture hall was kind of big with seats and few students i walked to a seat at the middle of the hall and in the blink of an eye the hall was full.A man walked in and introduced himself as Mr.Marumbi and that he was our lecturer that morning and that he was ready to venture with us till we are professionals,he gave out a speech for about 2hours about school but there was something he said and i quote "You are now in campus where you have the freedom to do all that you want and this is the place where you either build or destroy you.Be patient and work smart,study and protect what's yours and you will be great",

Listening to him talking felt like he was directing it to me.That day we didn't have much to do just introductions and such then i went back to the hostel,my room mate was a lil plump and had a dark skin that was really attractive,she had a great smile and the braces made it look even

more gorgeous,she was grumpy by her look but fun when you know her,She had quite a name rare but cute name Paiseley that was her name but i could call her Pais.That night you came around to pick me up so we could go out for dinner,we went to a hotel and you ordered food for us both i was really tiny but had a good appetite.We ate and drunk while talking about us,i loved how you looked at me with your teary eyes that always allowed me to get a certain comfort,after a while of talking you drove me back to the campus.
