New Deal
Third person pov:
Days go on, On Thursday, Ana went to her office in the afternoon to finalize designs. She had a hectic schedule. After attending a charity event, she tried to find Alex to explain, but they hadn’t met in the past few days. Zack and Finn, David and Jen had gone to London for a business meeting, and Nick went to meet his girlfriend. Alex didn’t know...
Ana immersed herself in her work to the point where she hadn’t eaten since the night before. She went to her restaurant to check on things briefly and then left for her apartment around 6:00 PM. She thought once she got home, she would eat. As she was getting into her car, someone placed a napkin over her nose, causing her to lose consciousness.
When Ana regained consciousness, she noticed her surroundings and remembered that someone had knocked her out and brought her here. She panicked as she realized she was in complete darkness, with only a lamp light on the nightstand. She looked around. She was on a king-size bed, and no one was in sight. The room was large, with two doors. She stood up from the bed, walked toward one door, and tried to turn the knob, but it was locked. She banged on the door and shouted, but no one replied.
Ana felt weak. She went back to the bed, sat down, and put her head in her hands, closing her eyes as her head spun. After some time, there was a "click" sound from the door. Ana suddenly raised her head but couldn’t see who the person was. In the darkness, she had no idea who it could be.
"Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?" she shouted, trying to sound brave.
"Haa ha..." A devilish laugh echoed from the other side. Ana was terrified, not knowing who this person was or why he had brought her here. The person, seeming to know her reaction, switched on the lights. Ana was shocked to see him.
"What? Ms. Ananya Khanna? Are you afraid to see me here, or did you think I would forget what you did to me?" he said, walking toward the bed. "Did you not expect to see me? You made things difficult. If you had accepted the deal back then, things wouldn’t be like this."
"Why? What did I do to you? I’m not the kind of person who cheats others. Why should I accept your deal?" Ana replied with attitude. She was afraid, but she never liked to do bad to others or make herself seem weak.

**On Tuesday:**
Ana went to her restaurant like she did every day. While she was working, one of the waitresses informed her that someone had come to meet her. Ana went out to meet the person, and when she saw him, he looked familiar.
“Hello, good evening. I hear you wanted to meet me. How can I help you?” Ana said politely.
“Hi, Ms. Ananya. I think you’ve forgotten our last meeting,” he said with a hint of disappointment, though he tried not to show it. “Let me introduce myself. I’m Stephen Johnson. We met last time at the charity night. You were with Alexander.”
Now Ana remembered where she had seen him. That night, she had lost control and spoken too much. The memory made her uneasy again. She replied, “Yes, Mr. Johnson. I’m sorry—I forgot.”
“It’s okay, Ms. Ananya. Please, have a seat,” he said.
Ana sat down opposite him. She felt uncomfortable—his behavior was strange. He was staring at her as if he were about to devour her.
After they were seated, Stephen asked if she wanted anything. Ana politely declined. Then he got to the point.
“Ms. Khanna, I have an offer for you—one you won’t be able to refuse.”
Ana raised an eyebrow. “What kind of offer, Mr. Johnson?” She assumed it was about design work, but she wasn’t prepared for what came next.
Stephen leaned forward. “I want you to be a spy for me at Kings’ Company.”
Ana was stunned. *What is he talking about?* she thought. She asked, “What? Mr. Johnson, what are you saying?”
Stephen explained, “Ananya, I heard you're working at Alex’s company. I want some information about his future projects. If you help me, we can both profit.”
Once again, Ana was shocked at his character. *What trash,* she thought, and replied, “Sorry, Mr. Johnson. I’m going to disappoint you—I can’t accept your offer.”
He smirked. “You don’t even know how much I’m offering. How can you reject me without hearing the details?”
He pulled out a check for one million dollars and placed it on the table. “This is your advance. After you deliver, I’ll pay you double. You get me the information I want, I succeed, and you walk away rich.”
Ana laughed sarcastically. “Even if you gave me ten million, I would never accept your offer. I have dignity—I can earn my own money.”
She stood up, ready to leave. *How can someone be so shameless?* she thought. But just as she was turning away, his next words stopped her in her tracks.
“Why are you pretending to be innocent, Ms. Ananya? You’ll get money—what else do you want? Do you really think Alex will always be there for you? You’re just working for a while. You don’t even know if you’ll get more projects later.”
He stood up and came closer.
“He never sleeps with the same woman twice. For your information, he’s done with you. It’s better to choose a bright future rather than depending on him.”
He reached out to touch her shoulder, but she jerked away.
“If you want, I can warm your bed. I’ll make you feel better than he ever did. We both get what we want,” he said shamelessly. “You can be my mistress even after the deal. I think now you’ll accept my offer.”
Ana’s face turned red with anger. Her hand shot up and slapped him hard across the face.
*How dare he?* she thought.
Pointing her finger at him, she said, “Mr. Johnson, watch your words and learn to respect women. Who are you to judge me? I know who I am and what I stand for. I don’t want your offer. Leave now.”
As she turned to go, he snarled, “You b***h! Who do you think you are? A w***e pretending to be respectable? You sleep with men for money and then talk about dignity?”
Ana tried to slap him again, but he caught her wrist tightly.
“You want to slap me again?” he said, eyes burning with rage.
“You have no money, no family, and yet you started your own company and restaurant? Do you think I’m a six-year-old who believes in those fairy tales? I know girls like you. You used men during college and built your business with their help. Now you’re trying to act holy?”
“I gave you a deal that could’ve benefited us both. But you made a huge mistake, Ananya.”
He leaned closer and growled, “Do you know who I am? I’m the young master of the Johnson family—one of the top families in the States. I’ll make you beg on your knees. I’ll ruin you. I’ll make you pay for what you did today.”
He turned to leave and said coldly, “See you soon, Ms. Ananya Khanna.”
The entire conversation had taken place in a private booth, so no one else knew what had transpired.
Present:
When Stephen saw Ana at the charity event, he wanted to possess her—but Alex got to her first. He investigated her background and discovered that she owns a company and a restaurant, and also works at Alex’s firm. Stephen has always believed that money can buy anything, and now he wants to satisfy his desire for her. But Ana not only rejected his offer—she slapped him and humiliated him.
Today, he has decided to turn her life into a living hell. He wants to crush her so completely that she can never lift her head again in society, leaving her with nothing but despair and the wish for death.
Stephen walked forward with a devilish grin. “How are you, Ms. Ananya Khanna? I think you've enjoyed your life quite well—until now. From this moment on, your freedom is gone.”
Ana was shaken by his words. She had overcome many obstacles in life, and she wasn’t someone who would give up easily—not until her last breath.
“I’ll give you an offer, Ananya,” he said, sitting beside her and leaning in as if to smell her. “You're a smart woman—so choose what’s best for you.”
Ana immediately stood up, putting distance between them. " I don't care what your deal ? I never do anything filthy." Ana said straight forward.
