Chapter 30 In Danger Third person pov: Ana was shocked to here his words. "Tonight, there's a guest from abroad. You have to impress him," Stephen said coldly. "If you satisfy him, maybe you can be saved from hell. But until I lose interest, you belong to me." Ana's eyes burned red with anger. "Mr. Johnson, are you in your senses? What are you saying? If you want to kill me, then do it—but I will never accept your offer!" she snapped, trying to flee. Ana ran toward the door, but Stephen reacted quickly, pulling her back and slapping her. She fell onto the bed. "Trying to escape?" he sneered. "You won’t get away so easily, Ananya. You're in the outskirts of the city. Even if you escape this room, there's no one out there except my men." Ana felt weak. Her heart was pounding. How could she escape this place? "Let me go, Stephen. I’m not doing this," she said firmly. "You have no choice, Ana," he replied darkly. "Otherwise, by tomorrow, you’ll be sold to a brothel." He smirked and added, "If you cooperate tonight—you’re beautiful, sexy—no man can resist you. If you sleep with him, you’ll be free. You’ll only belong to me. But if you refuse... there’s no telling how many men you’ll be handed over to. No freedom. Just a toy to fulfill their desires. So what’s your choice?" Ana was speechless. Her eyes filled with tears. Her vision blurred, but she refused to break. She had always been proud, and she would remain so until her last breath. She stood up and used the self-defense techniques she had learned in the past to attack him, but it was no use. He eventually overpowered her, grabbed her throat, and issued one last warning before leaving: “Be ready by 9:00.” A young girl around Ana's age entered with a dress and led her to the bathroom to freshen up. Ana begged her for help, but the girl remained silent. Finally, with tears in her eyes, she whispered, “Ma’am... if you don’t get ready, the young master will kill me. Please…” Ana saw the fear in her and realized how deep this nightmare ran. "To plan anything, I need to get out of this room first"she thought. --- In the living room, Stephen waited for his guest. A man in his fifties entered, dressed in a black suit. Behind him were Wilson and Richard. Stephen stepped forward. “Hello, Mr. Lopez. It’s an honor to meet you.” Mr. Lopez nodded and sat on the couch, while Wilson and Richard stood behind him. Stephen was nervous—the last deal had failed, and this one had to succeed. “Mr. Lopez, I apologize for the last deal. I promise this one will be completed without any drama.” Mr. Lopez looked unimpressed. “Stephen, I’ve told you before, this world runs on money, not promises. I believed you, and you disappointed me. If you want to succeed, start keeping your word and plan properly. As for today’s deal—there’s a truck outside. My men will inject the girls and load them onto it.” Earlier, Wilson had advised Stephen, “If the boss is satisfied with a girl, you can gain his favor easily.” Stephen had originally planned to keep Ana for himself—but hearing this, he changed his mind. While Mr. Lopez sipped his drink with Stephen, Wilson and Richard began drugging the girls. They cried and begged, but no one listened. Stephen then ordered the young girl to bring Ana. Mr. Lopez turned to see a girl in a black dress that barely covered her, the neckline low enough to expose the curve of her chest. l**t filled his eyes. Stephen saw it and knew his plan was working. “Mr. Lopez, to show my sincerity and make up for my mistake, I’ve brought her to refresh your evening,” Stephen offered. Mr. Lopez smirked. “I accept your offer.” His eyes were fixed on Ana like a predator. His excitement was obvious. Ana felt sick with disgust. She hated being reduced to this. The men in the room looked at her like an object. She kept her head low but scanned the room carefully. She had to find a way out. She noticed that guards were stationed in every corner. Then she was called and forced to sit beside Mr. Lopez. As he finished his talk with Stephen and turned to her, Ana subtly moved to the far end of the couch. Stephen had left to arrange the room. Mr. Lopez leaned in and placed his hand on her thigh, rubbing it slowly. Ana felt repulsed—like filth was crawling over her skin. As everyone left the room to give Lopez privacy, Ana grabbed a wine bottle from the table and smashed it against his head. "Ahh! AHH!" he screamed in pain. The commotion brought Wilson, Richard, and the guards running. Mr. Lopez clutched his bleeding head and stared at Ana, who was now running toward the exit, barefoot, holding the broken bottle. “She’s trying to escape! Stop her!” Wilson shouted. Ana was quickly surrounded by guards. *If I had just waited… I could’ve planned this better,* she scolded herself. Just then, someone stepped out and slapped her hard across the face. She fell to the ground. Wilson looked at her and gasped. “You?! You b***h—again you came to ruin everything!” He turned to Mr. Lopez. “She’s the one who ruined our last project . Ana didn’t fully understand what they were talking about, but when she looked at their faces—and realized they belonged to the same group involved in child kidnappings—she began to piece together the rest of the story. Mr. Lopez and Stephen, who had now recognized her identity, were just as surprised. Mr. Lopez walked over and grabbed her by the hair. “You’ve got some guts,” he snarled. “Tonight, you’ll learn how to respect me.” He turned to Stephen and ordered, “You’ll send her with me. I’ll make her pay for what she did in the past.” Then he looked at Wilson and said, “Prepare a room for tonight. After that, we leave.” “You animal!” Ana spat. “I’ll never let you touch me. I’d rather kill myself than give in. Take your filthy hands off me!” With that, she grabbed the broken bottle and tried to attack them. Lopez saw it coming and caught her wrist. “You’re feisty. But I have something that can bring anyone to their knees,” he said with a smirk. He signaled to Richard, who handed him a pill. Lopez forced the medicine into Ana’s mouth. She tried to spit it out, coughing violently, but he shoved it down her throat. Wilson dragged her into the room and threw her onto the bed. Lopez finished speaking with Stephen and then followed her in. Ana tried to crawl away, but she was weak. She struggled, but her body was starting to fail her. He approached her, pinning her to the bed. “Don’t fight it,” he said. “In a few seconds, you’ll be under my control. And guess what? The entire thing is being recorded. The whole world will know about you tomorrow.” Ana managed to push him away and break free from his grip. She screamed for help. Her voice was weak, but she gave it everything she had. Lopez laughed, grabbed her wrist again, and tried to kiss her. Ana slapped him hard across the face, broke free again, and ran toward the door. It was locked. She pounded on it, screaming for someone to help, but no one came. She ran around the room, throwing whatever she could find at him. Lopez dodged everything, slowly approaching, his face twisted with irritation and hunger. She didn’t even realize she was crying anymore. She was losing hope. Alex, she thought. Please... where are you? Help me. But he wasn’t there. No one knew she was missing. She had no family to care, no one who would come searching. Still, she prayed for a miracle, banging on the door with all her remaining strength. Her body began to react strangely—the d**g was taking hold. She felt hot, weak, paralyzed. The figure walking toward her blurred in her vision. He looked like Alex for a moment—but no, she shook her head hard. It’s that scoundrel. That monster. Not Alex. Her tears fell freely now. He grabbed her arms and dragged her back. She tried to resist, but her body wouldn’t respond. “Don’t touch me... Please... leave me,” she begged. But he threw her onto the bed and got on top of her. His hands ripped the straps from her dress, exposing her chest, while the other hand slid up her leg. He leaned in, whispering filth, as he began... “Alex… where are you? Please… I need you,” Ana cried silently. He was the only person in her heart—but he wasn’t here. The present couldn’t be changed. He was the beast. She was the prey. Tears streamed from her eyes. I’ve lost… Everything I’ve gained is gone. I’ve failed... I failed my life. Ana tightly closed her eyes, unable to bear it anymore.
