XIIFARMERS' MARKET. I was picking up fruit for the week, and putting in an order for a quarter of beef with a farmer there. Also getting some fresh milk and eggs. Always thought this would be a great "cute meet" for a romance. Today I took my purchases back to my car and set them in coolers with frozen water bottles. Then I went back with a tall mocha-latte that I bought out of the nearby farm supply store. Taking out a folding chair from my car's back seat, I trundled over to sit down in the nearest shade tree, a huge maple. I also took a paperback with me so I could pretend to be reading while waiting for someone. Not that I came every week, but I loved this big maple. It was always cool and didn't rest on hot asphalt like the market tents. That shade allowed some hangers-on, like me,
