VIII KEPT TRYING DIFFERENT lifestyles in every new lifetime. Of course, I would have to springboard off my last lifetime as I would wake up with the leftovers around me of that old lifetime, and had to use them to build the next one. And sometimes, the cycles I had started in earlier lifetimes were long ones, and complicated, and hard to change.
But I could always change something. And since I knew I was just going to be reborn again, I could try new things every new life. So while life was tedious, I could always try something new. Which meant I could make life as interesting as I wanted it.
That was the loophole for living.
I truly did live one day at a time.
And each day was as interesting as I wanted it to be. Or dull and boring. Whatever I felt like doing.
