XEVENTUALLY, I GOT A great job where they didn't care what I did all day. Just as long as I re-wrote the manuals I was supposed to rewrite, each done they way they wanted them. It was some government-funded paperwork job, where they needed old manuals re-written into updated versions. Then my books would go out to other people for editing and come back with all sorts of notes and tabs and extra sheets of paper stuck in. I then had the joyous time of entering in their comments and typing in their handwritten notes, correcting their grammar and making the sentences more interesting. Because they and I knew how stupidly dull these were to begin with, and that they wanted people to just finish reading them, not go to sleep in the middle.
