Chapter 16 A Shameless Guy Living off His Parents

“Lily, this is all I have. I’m running out of money now. Can you and David wait until I receive his dad’s pension?”
“Waiting? Oh, no! I’ve told my sisters about this and they’ll join us this time!” The woman named Lily was freaked out.
“Mom, do something! If that’s the case, why don’t you give me one or two pieces of jewelry of yours so that I can exchange some money for temporary use?” David suggested impudently.

Vincent couldn’t stand hearing more of this, so he knocked on the door.
“Who’s there?!” David asked.
As expected, David came over and opened the door. He was an ordinary guy with short hair, the kind that couldn’t be recognized among the crowd. He was quite strong but dressed himself dazzling.
Further beside him was a woman who didn’t seem decent. She was in sexy clothes, with thick makeup and red lips. Her flirting eyes looked Vincent up and down.

“Hey, Vincent! What are you doing here?!” As neighbors, David surely knew who Vincent was.
“David, you are back! I’m here to pay Mrs. Moore a visit. Also, I’d like to talk to her.” Vincent smiled.
“Talk to her?” David was stunned, scratching his head. Lily patted him behind at this time.
“Let him in, will you?” Then Lily blinked at Vincent.
“Oh, right, come in!” David hurriedly took sideways, and then Vincent stepped in.
“Child, what brings you here?” Mrs. Moore greeted as soon as she saw him.
“Mrs. Moore, I’m here to see you and tell you good news by the way. You know I applied for an interview today, right? Well, I’m hired!”
“That’s amazing, son! You are a good son, and your future must be promising!” Mrs. Moore grinned and held Vincent’s hand.
Lily also took the chance and squeezed Vincent’s back from behind secretly, blushing for his muscles.
Vincent hurried away from the woman who had seduced him several times.
“What do you do for a living, Vincent?!” David asked with interest.
“Well, you can consider me... a family doctor!” Vincent smiled.
“Wow! That’s a job in your field of study! The family must be rich, isn’t it?” David asked with a smile.
“Not bad. They have a factory,” Vincent answered as he took out his phone and called someone.
“Hello?! Mrs. Brown! This is Vincent. Will you come to Mrs. Moore’s place with the other two families? I’ll pay you the money!”
“Okay! I’ll be waiting for you at Mrs. Moore’s place.”
“Son, you got money now?” Mrs. Moore stroked Vincent’s hand.
“Yes, Mrs. Moore. See? They pre-paid the medical fees and wages for me!” Vincent took out 20,000 from his pocket and shook it before he stuffed it back.
“So much money?! Oops, you are a rich man now, Vincent!” David stared at him enviously.
Lily also flirted with Vincent for a while.
“I’m flattered! They just paid my salary in advance.”
As Vincent explained, Mrs. Brown came in with the breakfast stall man and the kennel man.
Mrs. Brown might have told the two that Vincent had come back to pay the money. But given Vincent had a good relationship with Chairman Martin, the three of them hesitated and cowered.
“Come on!” Without delay, Vincent nodded towards them and then give the money out: 1,000 for the kennel man, 2,000 for the breakfast stall man, and 8,000 for Mrs. Brown.

“I bet he did!” The two men also nodded.
“That’s not true. I just got hired and they prepaid my salary. That’s all.” Vincent shook his head and looked at Mrs. Brown. “There is a place for me to live in my work site, but I’d like to keep my residence upstairs. Let’s talk about it later when it expires. I’ll come back to live occasionally.”
“As you wish! Don’t worry! I’ll definitely keep it for you and clean it up!” Mrs. Brown nodded and bowed before leaving with the two men.
Vincent looked at the money left in his hand and gave 1,000 to Mrs. Moore.
In fact, Vincent wanted to give all the money to Mrs. Moore, who had been kind to him, but he was afraid that David and Lily would take it from her.
“Why, son?!” Mrs. Moore didn’t take it.
“Mrs. Moore, thanks to you, I always have food and drinks to get supported. So, please, take this,” Vincent said as he stuffed the money into Mrs. Moore’s hand.
“Oh, I can’t take that, son!” Mrs. Moore hurriedly pushed the money away.
“Please, Mrs. Moore, take it as my thanks gift to you. I may still come here and ask for another meal later.”
“Oh, good boy, I’ll be delighted if you eat in my place. But it’s not easy for you to make some money. Keep it for your living with Lora,” Mrs. Moore once again refused the money.
Vincent smiled bitterly: Lora, huh?
David, however, snatched the money from aside and smiled shamelessly, “Mom, look what you are doing! Vincent wants this for you, then you should take it. As acquaintances, take good care of him with more food and drinks in the future.”
“Hey, David, what are you doing?!” Mrs. Moore pulled David hastily.

“Well then, I should go back first!” Vincent nodded to Mrs. Moore and went out, failing to notice the abnormal eye contact between David and Lily.
Vincent went upstairs and began to pack his clothes.
“Bang, bang, bang!” Someone knocked at this time.
Vincent was taken aback and turned to open the door.
Then he found Lily.
“Vincent, handsome! So, you are home!”
