I never thought that there could be something other than the pain from the injury which can make me feel this miserable. Having all those restrictions upon me and not being able to do a single thing made me so bored that I just wanted to run away from everything. But it was a good thing as at least I was away from all of that drama. If I knew something like this would have helped me not attend the gathering, then I would have done it long ago, but my father might have other some other plans on his mind as he was surely going to take me to the gathering even though looking like this so that everyone can see me at least once. I can never understand why everyone is so obsessed with events like this when it means nothing in the end.
