Even after finding everything, there were a lot of things, he was still not aware of yet. As Mr Oliver was not that simple in the first place and even when he knew Nathan was a complete loser according to everyone else, he still kept his eyes on him all the time so that he can handle him every time. When Nathan was busy living his life however he wanted his mother had to pay the price for keeping her son safe from every other threat including his stepfather.
