Chapter 9 Rye Despite my grumbling, I loved the fact that Lauren wanted to go on a "date" with me. I figured it meant she was starting to trust me, to believe that I wasn't going anywhere. That this thing between us could be real. By the time we reached Haad Tien Beach, the sun was lighting the clouds in shades of gold and apricot.
