Haygon POV I'm a century old fire dragon prince, and for the last twenty years, I've been looking for my mate. Two years into my search, I felt her birth, giving me hope and knowledge that she is of high rank lineage. Not that her rank would have mattered, but I would cherish my mate that the moon goddess blessed me with anyway. My mate being of high lineage means I can feel her birth and presence in this world until she draws her last breath. Then, about eight months later, I felt her dragon go dormant, making it harder for me to track my mate. I can just barely feel her presence in our world, though, and it is driving me crazy. I've been all over the word from the four dragon kingdoms: earth, water, fire (my kingdom), and air, the lycan kingdom and visited the many werewolf packs under the the lycan kings rule. I've even visited the fae kingdom and the many vampire covens despite their lack of mate bonds. After hitting many dead ends, an ancient but young looking vampire told me about a flea market hidden from the human eye, and only supernaturals could cross through the barrier. He said the name of the flea market is the Underworld, and it moves locations every week, and you have to have a code word to get in. I've searched for many months trying to pinpoint the location of the Underworld, and for the first three months, no one would speak to me because they thought I would shut the whole gig down. Apparently, a lot of royals do not like the idea of their subjects mingling with other species outside of their alliances. It took a while to convince them I approved of such a secretive and safe place and just wanted to find my mate. It's been nine months since I found out about the Underworld, and I've finally found it! It took some real convincing, to a very protective vampire who is also part of a secret counsel of this secret flea market that helps keep it safe and organnizes it's pop up locations. I agree wholeheartedly that all the magical races should be able to mingle and do their form of magic without penalty and restrictions. Being a royal some times has it's disadvantages because most of them are greedy and many supernatural subjects fear we'll destroy everything they worked so hard to build. This week's location is in Florida, a magically hidden door in the restroom of the leaky cauldron at Universal Studios. What in the Harry Potter world is this??? Our witches and warlocks don't even need a wand to cast magic, though some of their children who have a hard time controlling and channeling their magic are given a token of some sort like a necklace or a family ring with a gem in it to focus their magic in to project. Other than that, they really don't need anything to channel their energy. My destination is Orlando, Florida, so I find a safe place to change into my large black dragon with gold specks. With my dragon's speed, it takes me roughly thirty minutes to get there from Texas. Dragons are much faster than airplanes, thankfully, and I have no idea what I would do without mine. "Crash and burn." Adonis says. Adonis is the name of my dragon counterpart, and we share our forms. I chortle at his remark, and a bit of smoke comes out my nose, almost like water coming out when you laugh when swallowing in a big gulp and you can't help but laugh at the person's funny comment. He's not wrong, though, because I am a dragon, and that makes me fireproof, and I wouldn't be able to fly without him. Having him is exponentially convenient. I find a small and secluded clearing in a park a couple miles from the amusement parks, land, and shift back to my human form. As shifters, when we transform into our other form, our clothes shred as our bodies rearrange and take on a different form and size, so I keep my change of clothes tied to foot so I can put them back on when I am done with my dragon form. It's late in the evening, so I check into a shifter bed and breakfast. These are located all over the world to accommodate the busy schedules of shifters, whether it be last-minute bookings or cancelations. This bed and breakfast is run by a pack of wolves from the Moon Stone pack, and the bed and breakfasts name is "The Moon Stone". The Moon Stone is large to accommodate tourists, and though human guests are welcome, only the packs omegas work here. The only way for a human to get a job here is if they are mated to a pack member. The foyer is decorated in soft, earthy colors, ment to stimulate and calm and peaceful environment when you walk in. To my left are tables that line the wall with pamphlets of restaurants, casinos, fun activities to take the children to like the library or community centers, and, of course, the amusement parks. Above these tables are pictures of the past alpha's who have owned this establishment. To my right is the front desk with a diligent looking she-wolf. She is so engrossed in her paperwork that it takes her a second to notice me. When she finally does, she looks a little startled with her big brown eye, the remind me of my sister Heather and I can't help but chuckle in amusement. she blushes fearcely and confidently says "Welcome to The Moon Stone bed breakfast, my name is Elaine, how may I assist you?" "I just need a room for the night." I said there was no need for me to show her my beasts eyes. She could sense I was a powerful shifter.
