Abigail POV
As usual I'm the first person out of the class and am heading to my locker to get my chemistry book for my next class. When I close my locker door it's none other than the skinnany tw*t squad with Stacey front and center. I groan my distaste loudly and say "So much for a stress free day." Stacey snorts and replies with a drawn out well, "Well, with a stain like you on the pastors name it must be hard pressed to have a stress free day, ya know, seeing as how you're the bane of his existence." Leanore and Eleanore, the twins that help make up the skinnany tw*t squad, laugh rather obnoxiously through their nose at Stacey's distasteful comment.
Naturally, not letting her comment hurt my feelings, I smirk and say "With a objectionable daughter like you I'm sure your daddy feels frustrated every day that your mommy didn't swallow you instead. That's why he works so much, so he can just give you money and you stay out of his hair. It's a real shame you didn't end up a loogie like the rest of his children."
Stacey let out an ear piercing shriek, called me a callus b*tch and pushed me down with all the force she could muster.
Before I could hit the ground a strong arm caught me , sending feather light tingles every where in it's wake. I was being lifted up to my feet instead of falling on my a**. I was captivated by his hazel eyes when I looked up to see who my knight in shining armor was and for a second his hazel eys turned emerald green. The color was gone so fast I swear I imagined it.
When I'm up on my feet, principal Anita pokes her head around the corner, clears her throat and asks "Abigail, are you causing problems with Stacey again? You know the drill, my office so we can document this and call your father."
"Actually, it was miss Stacey who was causing problems to miss Abigail. I seen it all when when I walked out of the classroom. Miss Stacey approached Miss Abigail and said some rather nasty words and after Miss Abigail replied, Miss Stacey screeched like a banshee and pushed Miss Abigail. It's a real shame that she can start the fire but can't handle the heat when it lashes back at her" Mr. Haygon said without missing a beat.
Principal Anita is flabbergasted, she has no idea what to say about a teacher accusing her precious daughter of bullying. Mrs. Anita finally regains her composure and calls Stacey to her office.
I'm in a daze watching them walk away but say "Thank you Mr. Haygon, for coming to my rescue. My father will be happy to hear that you helped keep me keep my promise to him today." Before he could say anything I left for my next class in time so I wasn't tardy.
