ISLA’s P.O.V

2 months later 

The neighbors have settled in properly finally and Mrs Lockwood met my mom and there’re like best friends now and Mrs Lockwood is always over my house and is chatting with my mum over a coffee :) 

It’s monday morning, As I wake and get up out of bed I look at my alarm clock and see that it’s 5am I get dressed into my running clothes and go for my hour run in the park as I run back to my house I go straight upstairs and try not to wake my mom up and jump straight into the shower and as I walk out of my bathroom (see I have my own bathroom attached to my room) in a towel wrapped around me and my toothbrush in my mouth I open my curtains and see that the room that is opposite my window is Coles and then I realise him walk into his walk and spot me looking in as he chuckles and then realises that I’m in just towel and then has a weird look on his face and while I’m raising my eyebrows at him, just then I realise he’s looking at my body that had just had a towel wrapped around it and I move quickly back into my bathroom to spit my toothpaste out of my mouth and wash my toothbrush and as I put my toothbrush back I rush out of the bathroom to my wardrobe and see what I can wear for the day and I pick out this really cute mustard striped crop top and a black skater ripped jeans and my white converse and my denim jacket I then decide to put mascara on and decide to text Alex 

Leaving in 5 mins be at our meeting spot in 10 mins or I’m leaving without you;) - Isla 

Any new goss today? And be there in 7 mins :) - Alex

As I leave my house I notice Cole leaving his aswell I’m guessing we’re both going to the same place.., school. I notice someone looking at me and then I hear a “Isla Right?” I nod as he smirks “yep that’s me” and as he smirks at me I look it him and smile and say “anything I can help you with?” He smirks at me “nope just checking I can get your name right gorgeous” I look at him and can’t help but blush and roll my eyes as I start to walk off I hear “nice body to doll” as I hurry off pretending like I didn’t hear him. As I see Alex I look at her and smile “heyyyyy girl” “heyyy babeeee” she beams and hugs me and then she breaks the hug and looks at me “so any goss” I look at her and unknowingly start blushing, she looks at me and raises her eyebrow “spill” then I told her about what happened this morning with me and Cole this morning and the towel and how he said that I had a nice body and then we arrived at school and we walked to my locker as I grabbed my books and all of a sudden we hear everyone grasp and whispering to themselves and looking towards the main entrance, me and Alex just look at each other and back at the main entrance when we see Cole and his mates walking down the corridor and as they walk past Cole looks at me and winks at me and that cause me to blush a little bit I am able to control it as Alex looks at me shocked “what was that” I look at her as shocked as she looks at me “I don’t know what that was about” as she chuckles and I roll my eyes and finish grabbing my books and go to lessons. Me and Alex finished writing our notes from the board and mr Harris said we had 20 mins to chill and speak quietly to echo their because we were ahead of everyone else as then Alex turns to me “so you know your cute looking neighbor?” I look at her confusingly and wondering where this is going “ yeh?” She look at me blushing “ he has some really cute friends do you think I have a shot with one of them?” I look at her stupidly “of course your absolutely stunning Al who wouldn’t want to get with you!?” She smiles at me and chuckles “nawh thanks babes love you lots” “love you to gurlll” I raise my eyebrows in curiosity “so which one do you like?” She turns back to me and blushes thinking about him “ Josh” still raising my eyebrow “Josh as in Josh Mills?” As she chuckles “yeh” I chuckle “what?” I look at her “nothing just that the fact that he’s liked you for like months Al and your only now noticing?” She looks at me confused as I chuckle. Josh Mills is one of Coles best friend and there’re all known as being the bad boys because that’s all they do is sleep with girls or all the girls want them but Josh isn’t like that he’s the golden boy of Brentwood High captain of the football team and all A’s in his tests but has liked Alex for almost like a year know and everyone notices it. As we got through the day the bell rang for lunch as me and Alex got to the canteen I sit down at our usual table and start eating my fruit salad and then all the ‘bad boys’ enter and start walking towards us as I just continue to eat my fruit salad not making a big deal out of it I notice them all sitting at our table then I turn to Cole “what are you guys doing?” He looks and smirks “ Josh has something he’d like to ask Alex” as I looked at him confused then looked at Josh looking at Alex blushing and nervous “Alex the guys have made me work up the courage and ask you out on a date because I’ve liked you for so long as everyone knows, so will you Alex go on a date with me?” Alex looks at me beaming as I look at her and smile nodding at her to answer him “ yes I would love to” and then I turn as our eyes meet, then light blue ocean eyes “guess we’ll be seeing more of each other beaut”  as he winks at me and I roll my eyes “I guess we will be”
