After dealing with pack issues for most of the day I was actually looking forward to a little break with my mate. When she canceled my entire mood for the day soured. She was always busy, I understood that she had an entire world to run and was 10 times more than just a pack but I was just getting frustrated. I wanted quality time with my mate, even if it is only a quick lunch date in one of our offices before we return to work.
Yet, the damage was done and the remaining part of my day was completely changed for the worst. I was able to complete my alpha duties fairly early and made my way back to the royal house. Instead of going up to our empty condo, I made my way to where I knew my mother would be preparing for the night's dinner.
