The moment that Lucy slid across the floor I was ready to kill Ian. Yet at the same time telling anyone yet about Ian hitting her would only result in Roman breaking every bone in Ian’s body. Thus resulting in our mission failure. Poor Lucy was out for the rest of the night and even half of the following day. But once she came to, she begged me not to say a word. I had to agree with her for these reasons but at the same time, I was nervous. If Roman was to find out that we hid this from him, I don’t even want to imagine the hell that would come down on us.
After the smack, Ian was gone. He was gone before I could even yell or scream at him. Hell, he has been gone for a while now and I am starting to wonder if he didn’t just abandon the entirety of the mission.
