Grabbing Amethyst's hand I took off towards my sons’ room. I knew that they had to mark her but did not know why. I had always taught my children that there was no reason other than loss of life that you should ever mark a person. Even in the loss of life, they need to understand that they would be taking away someone else's choice. No one should ever have to be forced to stay.
I had been furious about the force marking of my daughter until the doctor had explained the conditions surrounding her. I started to understand that there may be times in life that someone may not have the choice to choose their marking. Levi was one that I never believed would take someone's choice away.
