After grabbing a quick black coffee, I made my way listening to the chatter in the halls to find my way up the stairs to the large conference room. Standing at the front of the room was Adrik, waiting for the rest of the members to come in. I walked up beside him not yet sure of the seating arrangements here. Yet it appeared that there was no method to how or where everyone sat.
“So, what is it that we are waiting on exactly?” Adrik leaned over to whisper to me.
“The rest of the council, or advisory team? I don’t know exactly what we should really call ourselves.” Gabi replied. “See you have me supposedly the closest descendant to the mother Goddess and so kind of queen royal. There is, my lovely mate here, Sam. He is the next Alpha of the Blue Rose pack.” She said,
