Leaving the meeting Savenia slowed to wait for me. Allowing me to walk up and wrap an arm around her shoulders, I started to guide her to the dining hall.
“What do you say we go grab a couple of trays and take it back to my place and maybe watch a movie before getting started on those applications?” I asked her.
“We could always skip dinner and go back to my place and get to know each other?”
“Darling I would love nothing more than to get to know you in that manner. But I do need to pick up James. Would you like to meet him?” I asked cautiously. I was still nervous that me having a child would be the straw that broke the camel's back.
