Chapter 61 Mad At Nothing

"Come on, please tell me what's wrong, Alyssa. I know that stubborn boy won't tell me." Amanda cried but I didn't know if I should tell her it was because of me. She was suddenly acting so nice to me.
"Let's go, we have a flight to catch." Daniel luckily butted in, taking my hand and pulling me into the airport.
I followed sheepishly as the men came in with our luggage. Daniel had changed into a black shirt and had washed the blood off his face but it was still bruised.
We checked in and spent about an hour before the plane took off. I sat beside Daniel silently. He placed his head on the headrest, adjusting his chair and closed his eyes.
I watched him with pain at the bruises on his face. Why didn't he let me treat them?
