Claire's POV
I can't spend the night at Dolyn castle, so by early evening I'm already driving back to Berin.
I think about Ethan's suggestion to run away and I instantly smile. Maybe I too want us to run away on a crazy adventure and forget all about this royalty stuff.
"Wow, you're smiling. I bet you and Ethan did a lot of catching up." Lydia winks at me and I shake my head whilst blushing.
"But has the queen told you yet why we are extending our stay?"
I shake my head at her. "She hasn't told me anything, but if it bothers you I can talk to her to send you back."
"No Claire, it's okay, I'm okay. She chose me to look after you for a reason and I'm going to do just that." She smiles and I smile right back.
"The boys can wait." She adds
I really hope they can.
