CHAPTER 11: Micah –––––––– Micah waited...and waited. He’d never done this before, but there was no way he’d failed. Death was gone. He’d taken it. He looked around. There were no other angels here. Was he to take the boy even after trying to save him? He wouldn’t put it past his superiors. They followed a different agenda—one without mercy. A beep echoed through the quiet room, quickly followed by another and another. Micah didn’t move, as frozen as the family as they all watched the boy in the bed. Bobby’s eyes fluttered, an almost imperceptible movement and then they opened. Suddenly, the room burst with energy. The doctors and nurses moved about the bed checking the boy’s vitals. The family sobbed tears of joy tainted with unease. They didn’t know that Bobby was better. No one knew
