Ingrid’s mind was consumed all day by what Fabius had said. She could barely focus in class because of it. She felt a mix of nervousness and excitement. She didn't know what Fabius would do to her if she locked the door later that night. And she wanted to know. She wanted to see what he was capable of doing just because she disobeyed him.
After class, she walked to the parking lot with Rafa, who was waiting for her. She smiled at her when she got into the car.
"Hey, sis. What's with the smile?" Rafaella asked.
"Huh? Smile? Am I smiling?" Ingrid said, pretending to be confused. But in truth, she was excited to go home, for night to fall, and to wait for Fabius in her room. She wanted to see his frustration about what she was going to do.
"Yes. Are you in love? Are you dating Trent?"
