"THANKS for the coffee, Trent," Ingrid said, smiling at Trent. They had just come from the coffee shop and decided to get some fresh air near a cliff overlooking the city lights of L.A. "It's nothing...." Trent replied, smiling back and turning to face her. They were outside the car, leaning against its hood.
