My Best Friend!
That was the only thing ringing in my head as I stood there frozen, watching a scene I regretted. I stared at my Fiancé, thrusting into my best friend’s p***y and Sarah moaning like a w***e in heat.
This is the man I’m supposed to be married to in two days. The man I had shared everything with. I had survived with this man for a whole five years.
But he was there, eyes rolled back in bliss. I had never seen Lucas this way when we were together.
I couldn’t breathe anymore. It felt like the world was spinning. The sound of skin slapping against skin filled the room.
I wanted to leave but I couldn’t. My eyes stayed locked watching as if it was a horror movie. I couldn’t take my eyes from it.
“Yes, Lucas, f**k… Yes, I love this… f**k you’re so big.” Sarah moaned. The words hit me like I was being beaten on a battlefield.
My hands flew to my mouth, pressing hard to keep me from screaming. My heart felt like it had been torn from my chest.
Is this a nightmare? Was I going to wake up in our apartment, beside him, with his arm around me and none of this real?
“f**k yeah, Sarah baby,” Lucas grunted. “Take my big boy.”
“Ah, daddy! Give me your boy.”
Tears burned the back of my eyes. My knees buckled slightly, and I reached out to the door frame for support.
Daddy? He hates when I call him that. He never seemed that interested in s*x with me. Anytime I want him, he always says he’s tired.
My mind races, spinning out of control.
Is he in love with her? Has he always been like this? Is he faking it with me? Every time he said I love you, every plan we made for the future, was it all a lie?
I felt something wet on my cheeks. I raise my hand, brushing my skin. I hadn’t even realized I was crying.
“f**k, yes, I’m close!” Lucas moaned. I shook my head, like maybe this was a dream and if I shook hard enough I could wake up from this dream.
“You’re really f*****g shameless, Lucas,” I screamed.
They froze and Lucas’s head turned towards me. He opened his eyes wide like he was having a panic. He moved away from Sarah, grabbing the nearest blanket and covering it over himself like that could somehow undo what I just saw.
“M..Mia…” he stammered, What are you doing here?
I pressed harder against the wall, still wiping the tears with the back of my shaking hand, trying to stay on my feet.
“What am I doing here?” I said, slowly meeting his eyes. “That’s the first thing you have to say? I just caught you with my best friend.”
He shook his head, still holding the blanket.
“No, No.” It’s not what it looks like.
“Not what it looks like?”
I moved away from the walls, legs shaking, hands balled into fists. “Lucas, you’re cheating on me with my f*****g best friend, on our bed, In the house you called our home. You are moving your d**k into someone else, moaning her name like you’ve never been f****d before, and you have the mind to tell me it’s not what it looks like?”
He tried saying something, but nothing came out. He bent his face and couldn’t look at me.
“You’re evil,” I hissed. After everything, we’ve been together. After five years of loyalty, love and sacrifice, this is what I get in return? This is who you’re when I’m not around? ”
Sarah rolled her eyes and sat up. “Jesus, Mia,” she muttered. “How dramatic.” She started putting on her clothes without even bothering about the betrayal. “I don’t want to be caught up in this mess, Lucas. I’m out.”
Lucas turned to her, panicking. “Sarah, I’m sorry. I didn’t know she was coming.”
Something inside me snapped. My whole body was filled with anger. Why are they acting like this is normal? Why is Sarah not begging? Why am I the only one crying like a fool?
“You f*****g b***h”
I stormed towards her, my hand raised, ready to deliver a sounding slap, but before I could reach her, Lucas moved fast.
“Get a grip, Mia!” he shouted, grabbing my wrist. His grip was tight, fingers digging into my skin and hurting me. “What the hell are you doing?”
“What am I doing?” I spat, eyes blazing. “ Stay out of it, you dog! Wait till it gets to your turn. "
I moved toward Sarah, but Lucas stepped in front of me again, blocking my path. “I won’t let you touch her. Don’t even dare.”
I felt the cold shock, my heart dropped. He sounded so protective of her.
“Why?” I whispered. Shocked. Why are you protecting her? Are you seriously defending her after what you did to me? Shouldn’t you be on your knees right now begging?
Sarah adjusted her dress, not even trying to hide the pride on her face. She looked at me like I'd been her enemy.
“Why are you surprised?” she asked. “Did you think he ever liked you in the first place?” Use your brain girl.
My mouth opened, but no word came out. My vision blurred with tears. I could feel blood running through my ears.
“Let me go,” I snapped through my tightly shut teeth, yanking my arm. “Let me go this instant, Lucas.”
I shoved him hard, enough to make him move a step back. I charged towards Sarah, ready to slap the pride out of her goddam face, but Lucas came in between us and in a flash, his hand shot out and slapped me hard.
My head jerked to the side, cheek burning at the sudden impact.
“ Don’t you ever lay your hand on Sarah? ”
He hit me… he hit me to protect another lady. I held my cheek, stunned in place. My heart felt like it wanted to explode.
I looked up, our eyes met. His eyes widened like he just realized what he had done.
“Mia…” he choked out “I’m sorry”
Tears blurred my vision again. I didn’t know if I was crying because of the slap, or because the man I love more than anything in the world had just hit me.
That Lucas just hit me to protect another woman.
“Mia please,” he said, stepping towards me again. “I didn’t mean it, I just…”
“Don’t you dare touch me, Lucas,” I screamed.
“Mia…” he was about to say something, but I didn’t wait for the next lie.
I turned and walked away, leaving the ring, the wedding, the life I thought we were building and the man who never loved me.
