Douglas awoke the next day. He immediately looked for the girl he had been with the night before, but she was no longer by his side. He got out of bed as soon as he noticed a nicklace on top of the pillow and the blood stain on the bedsheets. He regretted that they didn't get to know each other well. He went to the information desk to inquire about the identity of the woman he was with. Catherine was there at the information desk together with Ruth, one of the interns. Catherine noticed that Douglas was coming toward them so she hid emmediately. Ruth was surprised by Catherine's reaction because she suddenly hid behind the cabinet. Good morning ma'am can I ask you some questions? Douglas asked Ruth. Yes, What is that sir? Ruth replied to him. Ma'am, have you seen a woman here this morning? She has long blonde hair and protruding eyes, as Douglas described. I'm sorry sir, but I did not see anyone pass here. Douglas said there was nothing he could do but to return to his condo unit.
