The horse rose on its hind legs, pawing, and neighing dreadfully. The boy leaned forward and grabbed the horse’s neck with his one hand to keep himself up. Then Josh cried out. Of course, the boy didn’t hear it through the dream, but Josh wanted to distract everyone, to give the boy time to escape. But the angel took action; he awoke a strong wind that swirled dust devils around the horse and its rider, hiding them from the murderous men.
