Julie’s mobile buzzed suddenly.
“Excuse me,” she said to Benet. “We’ll continue later. I have to take this. Hello …”
Keith was on the line.
“You will not believe this!” he shouted from the other side. “I know you’ve heard some hair-raising things before, but this will deck you!”
Julie wanted to say the same thing to him, that she had something to tell him that he had never heard before. Or she could mention that she had just crowned her scientific experiment with a successful ending, but she didn’t want to interrupt Keith’s enthusiasm.
