Dkany Castle
At five the next morning, Elena, Alex, and Tony waited on a picnic bench near the back entrance for Mikhail to arrive with his horse and carriage.
Tony turned toward the mountains, pointed at the castle, and said, “Tourists out on a sight-seeing tour driving in a horse and carriage and looking at the sunrise. Romantic and good cover for us.”
“It’s not going to be a cover for long when it gets around the Dkany heiress is in town,” Elena said.
“Stefan already figured it out,” Alex said.
“If you don’t start to act like you’re actually in love,” Tony said, frowning, “the whole town will know this is a sham.” He said it so softly Elena almost missed it. “And I wouldn’t discuss annulment in a public place like the restaurant, if you don’t mind, Alex.”
