“AVA!!!!!!!!!”
Derek and Hannie both screamed my name as they rushed to me.
I smiled as I hugged them together.
“Oh my goodness, we missed you so much.” Derek said, smiling at me.
“Silly girl, how can you just leave like that without telling us? How is your mum doing? I heard she was sick, which is why you left for a break.” Hannie asked.
Fiona lied to them that my mum was sick, which is why I took a sick leave to go see her. What a crazy excuse.
Well, it isn't that bad. It is a good thing that I still got my job back after screaming that I no longer want it.
