AVA POV
I walked into the house, and I got a different vibe. It didn't feel like the house which I left. It looked different in an odd well. You can tell that something is missing here.
James had dropped me off and has gone for a business meeting so he couldn't walk in with me.
But where is everyone?
The living room and kitchen are so silent.
I walked in myself because the door was opened.
I left my luggage in the living room and began to walk to his room.
The door opened before I got there, and it was Fiona who was walking out.
She looked shocked to see me like she didn't believe her eyes.
“Ava? Is that really you?” she asked as she walked slowly to me.
I smiled a little and nodded my head.
“Fiona.” I called her name.
She increased her pace and hugged me.
I hugged her back.
