“Hello gurl.” I smiled as I picked Ava's call.
“Hey what's up.” she sounded so exhausted.
“What is wrong? Why are you sounding down? Did something happen?” I asked her.
“I am fine. I'm just a bit tired from work. I had a rough day because I was in a hurry to beat up the deadline.” she said.
“Hope you have eaten and you are no longer in the office?” I asked her.
“Actually I only had lunch earlier, and also, I am still at work. I just finished sending the email of my work, so I decided to give you a call because I missed you so much, and I wanted to hear your voice.” she said, making me smile just hearing that she missed me just as I miss her too.
