“Ava are you sure you are okay?” Mrs Stephanie asked me for like the tenth time since I got to the office.
“Yes I am fine.” I said, putting on a smile, hoping it could be able to convince her that really I am fine.
I don't know what is on my face that makes her keep asking me over and over again.
“The boss is yet to be back. The company seems to be different without him.” Derek said.
“You are right about that. I noticed it, too. It's like everyone's energy has reduced. Everyone seems dull today.” Hannie said, agreeing with him.
“I wonder when he will be back. It's been three days he left. What is keeping him this long to come back?” Derek asked the same question I kept asking myself today.
