CHAPTER FIVE

JASMINE POV

I shifted back into my human form. I turned to look at Ava and gave her an innocent smile.

I know I took her by surprise. I just hope she won't hate me for this.

“Jasmine are you a.....” she asked looking at me.

“Yes I am a werewolf. Sorry I couldn't tell you through our messages. We are meant to keep it a secret from humans for our safety. I am so sorry for hiding my identity from you.” I apologized to her.

“So are you saying all the stories you tell me are actually real?” she asked.

“Yes they are all real.” I answered.

“Woah I never knew that you people were actually real. Do you think there are werewolves in London?” she asked looking excited instead of scared.

“I am not sure but maybe there are. I can only know if I see one. We all look human but we know who a like us.” I answered.

“Wow I can't believe I have a werewolf friend. My best friend is a werewolf. This is so an amazing and mind blowing. Your wolf is so beautiful and big also.” she said smiling.

“You are so strange do you know that?” I asked her.

“How do you mean?” she asked looking confused.

“Your dummy of an ex boyfriend just ran out like a lady because he was scared to see me shift but here you are, complimenting me instead of avoiding me. You are so weird. How come you aren't scared of me?”

I wanted to know because I wasn't expecting her reaction to be this calm.

“Well I also don't know why I am not scared of you. I think it's because I have heard alot of stories about werewolves so my mindset has changed which is why I don't feel scared. I guess.” she answered.

“So you really have no issue about me being a werewolf right? I am just asking to be sure you won't call the authories on me.”

She laughed instead.

“Of course not. I am never going to do that to you. I will protect you instead from them. But I think Lance might do something. I honestly don't trust him.” she said looking so sad.

Even the thought of that bastard always ruins her mood. It shows how heartbroken she is.

Why are men this wicked? Can't they understand we ladies have feelings.

I can't watch my friend be this way. She needs to get herself back.

“Ava I think we need to stop crying over losers and we need to stop thinking about them. We have to heal from the pain we are feeling right now.” I told her.

“I really want to heal so much but I don't know how to do that. I have tried what I can but since it happened I haven't been okay. I still can't heal from the pain that fool caused me. I was so in love with him but at the end what did I get, betrayal.” she cried.

“I think I have a solution to this. First of all, we pack his bags and send him away by locking him out then how about you just leave the country, you know, change of environment? I think it's will help you out if you go experience some place new. How about that?” I asked her.

“Do you think traveling is going to work out for me?” she asked.

“Of course. Just leave London. Leave your parents. Leave your ex boyfriend. Leave your work. Leave everything that has caused you pain and just go have some fresh air in another country. I think it will be of help. I will stay here and also enjoy London since it's a different place. I honestly want us to stop being moody and wasting our precious tears on our past which is long gone and there is nothing we can do about it.” I said.

“This is actually a great idea. I think I will go for the trip but I won't be staying for a while. Just a short break then will come back. But are you sure you don't want to come with me?” she asked.

“No I don't want to come with you. I will be fine here don't worry.” I smiled.

“Thank you for the advice.” she smiled too.

“Which country do you wish to go to?” I asked her.

“New York. I want to see New York.”

“We will plan for that trip but right now we need to send that cheater out. Go into his room and pack his bags. We will be throwing them out right now.” I told her as I pushed her to whether his room is.

She walked away while I sat down to think of how I was going to deal with Lance from telling the truth about my identity.

She took some time before she dragged out two big bags.

“Wait are this all his stuff?” I asked with my eyes opened.

“That isn't all my dear friend.” she answered as she dropped the bags and went back inside to bring out two more again.

“Oh my goodness. Girl this guy actually plans on staying here forever because how the hell are this bags alot?” I asked with my eyes wide opened.

“I didn't know when he brought this much into my house. I was so blind to see them.” she answered.

“I will help you throw them out.” I said.

I helped her carry two heavy bags out.

As we were about to enter the house, a police car pulled out in front of the house.

Lance walked out pointing at me. I noticed two officers coming out of the car as well.

“Officers there she is. She is the one who changed into a beast. She is not a human being. She is an alien.” he said as he kept pointing his finger at me.

I wish I can break them.

“Officers what is going on here?” Ava asked.

“Good day madams. Sorry to bother you but this man here came to make a report that a lady changed into a beast and tried to eat him up so we came to investigate. Is it true?” one of them asked.

“Officer that is absurd. I have never heard of such a story before. He is being delusional.” she answered.

“Officer she is lying. Ava what is wrong with you? Why are you siding with this animal?” the i***t cried out.

“Can you shut up Lance. She is not an animal here but you are. Sorry officers he is being like this because he can't take it that we just broke up. Actually I caught him cheating on me and when I told him to leave my house he refused. My best friend here only came to help me because he was being aggressive and was going to hurt me. He slapped her and left to bring you guys so you can arrest an innocent person. Look at her please, does she look abnormal to you?” Ava asked as she was wiping her tears off her eyes.

I wanted to clap for her remarkable acting but I realize it's time to enter my own acting character.

“Officers I can never hurt a fly nor an ant. So why will he say that about me? He is acting on drugs or alcohol because he is insane for lying to you.” I said giving them an innocent look.

“She looks so innocent and beautiful. I think this two ladies are telling us the truth because I can see the sign of a slap on her cheek. He didn't tell us he slapped the girl. Also look at those bags out there. This fool lied to us.” I heard them whisper to myself.

I let out a little smirk knowing that they were on our side.

“Look young man, I give you two options. One is either you pack your bags and leave here or two we arrest you for disturbing the beautiful ladies. Pick now.” the officer said to Lance.

“What? Why arrest me when you can just arrest them instead? They are lying to you. They are pretending. She is an alien. You need to send her away from this country or she will destroy the whole universe.” he shouted.

“I can't believe I came all the way here for this? You are speaking rubbish. Stop watching movies. They are making you say rubbish things. Now pack your things and leave or you will come with us right now.” the other officer said.

Lance looked at them then back at us.

I folded my hands with a smirk on my face for him to see.

“You disgusting whores. I hope you burn in hell.” he shouted as he walked to get his bags.

“You are the one who is going to hell you cheat.” I said back at him.

“I think you also left something inside. Let me go get it because you aren't stepping into this house.” I rushed inside.

As I was about to step out of the house, I noticed a handsome man talking to the officers and Ava although I couldn't see his face so well.

“I heard something about a human being turning to a beast in this neighbourhood. That's really a funny crooked up lie. Officers I think it's best to lock this mad man in a hospital and not cell for vomiting rubbish.”

Wow his voice sounds so good all of a sudden.

I couldn't go outside. I kept spying on him from the window till he walked away.

I went outside to join the officers and Ava. I will ask her about the man later.

“Officers please can you also restrict him from coming for us because he might come back to hurt us and we are scared?” I said to the officers giving them an innocent pout.

“Hey you, the next time you come close to this ladies or this house, you better find a good attorney who will help reduce your years in prison. Now leave fast.” the officer ordered as he brought out his stick.

I was so happy as I watched him walk away.

Finally we have gotten rid of him.

“Officers thank you so much. You don't know how grateful we are for you coming to our aid.” Ava said.

“You are welcome beautiful ladies. Next time report to the police and we will always be there to help you out.”

Ava and I stood as we watched them drive away.

I hugged her and pat her back.

“You did well. Finally we have gotten rid of that bastard.” I said.

“Yes we have and I am so happy and relaxed.” she said.

Then I heard a sweet scent.

“Can you smell that?” I asked her.

She began to move her nose breathing in deeply.

“Smell what?” she asked.

“That mouth savouring scent. It is so divine.” I said as I was losing my mind.

“Maybe you are just hungry.” she said.

This isn't about food. What I smell is a scent of a human being.

I looked around then I noticed the same man of earlier walking past the house.

I couldn't take my eyes off his back as he kept walking.
