Aria's POV I'm turning sideways trying to find the right spot and soft pillow to snuggle onto. My head hurt just from lying too much at my back. I've decided I need a change of position. I turn left, flurrying out the pillow to my desired softness. Too hard. Next right, pillow in my hands. I notice a shadow hovering above me. My eyelids still heavy with sleep, flicker open. My gaze falls on Lucien, crouching low by the bedside. His eyes are fixed on me. Watching over me like a child. He doesn't break his stare, lip curled into a smile. I know he's enjoying this, from the way he pushes wild strain away from my face. I peel myself up, sitting straight. My hands rubbing my eyes clean, as I slowly reboot myself. Pushing pass my desire to continue resting. "How's your morning, my love." L
