Lucien moves from the doorway and closes in on me. Immediately he halts in front of me, Mara tries to play the victim. She runs into his embrace and begins fake sobbing to get his attention on her.
"Lucien, Aria has been cursing me out all day." She sobs, trying to force down fake tears.
I sight her lips curl into a one sided smirk, while resting her head on Lucien chest, with his hand wrapping around her in a bid to comfort her.
